What is it?

Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup treatment that is a form of tattooing - It is essentially a more permanent version of lipstick. Semi-permanent makeup is placed under your skin into the dermal layer, but not as deep as a regular tattoo.
With age, our lips often become paler and thinner and we lose the definition in the lip area, lip blush will help to restore the definition to your lips, you can choose very natural colour for definition only or a darker or more vibrant shade.

Can you have lip blush if you already have lip fillers?

Yes, you can! Although you might experience more swelling during and after the procedure. We strongly recommend you do not have any lip fillers for a minimum of 6 weeks before and after your lip blush treatment.

The cost of this treatment includes a top up, this must be booked within 6-8 weeks of the inital appointment.

Cost: £250
Treatment length: 2hr 30mins
Top up length: 1hr 30mins

Aftercare

Once home, please wash the area with cool, boiled water using clean cotton pads. Repeat this twice, leaving every 2/3 between each wash.
You will then need to dry heal for the next two weeks.

Semi-permanent lip blush tends to heal similar to semi-permanent brows, they will get darker over the coming days and will likely flake away, disappear and re-appear with the skins natural cycle. If you experience any swelling, a clean cold compress can be used on the area.|

It is extremely important that you do not kiss, exercise, swim, expose the area to direct sunlight, sauna, get the area wet or apply makeup for two weeks following the treatment. Please also avoid sleeping on your face 2 weeks after the treatment.

If you get the area wet use a dry tissue and pat gently, and be sure to only touch the area with clean hands! Any scabbing or flaking will naturally shed. Some itching is normal, but please don't pick, peel or scratch the treated area as the colour may heal unevenly and you will risk scarring and infection. It is important that you Do NOT apply any creams or makeup on your lip blush for 14 days following the treatment!

Providing any scabbing has healed, you can get your lips wet after 14 days.
